Online Drum Lessons

Here at AJW Drum Academy we have been testing how to best deliver online lessons. Zoom has been tried and tested at the studio and it has been found to be the most effective.

To be prepared for your online drum lesson, please sign up to Zoom here – it is FREE.

To optimise the lesson and quality of the video conference, please ensure you adjust your settings in Zoom as follows:

1. Click on Audio Settings > Microphone > UNTICK ‘Automatically adjust microphone volume’
2. Click on Audio Settings > Advanced > Under Audio Processing – DISABLE ‘Suppress Persistent Background Noise’ AND ‘Intermittent Background Noise’ 
3. Once you have joined the lesson, please ensure your screen is set to ‘Speaker View’ (where the lesson will take up the whole screen and you will have a smaller icon).
